'Then they'd consider someone like you as handsome. We can't have that, now can we?' Ugh. It was taking Adrian Lawley a considerable amount of effort just to not beat this guy senseless. But he held himself back and for once, the male thought he was the better man if he could keep his calm. Though in actuality, he didn't care about who was the better man. It was merely not letting this guy believe he had somehow won. That was the last thing the son of Hades wanted. Even if this guy ended up with a black eye, he'd still be leaving with a stupid smug grin on his face. Or at least, that's what Adrian had thought. Instead of reacting as the boy might expect, he merely smirked, deciding to humor the guy a little. "Of course not. Though the thing is, they already do." He shrugged, trying to make it look like it was just nothing. Though really, Adrian didn't know for sure if people found him attractive but honestly speaking? It was difficult not to. That man was gorgeous and he owned it. Every time such a thought ran though his mind, a little smirk would arrive on his face and he would merely think, 'why yes, I am gorgeous, aren't I?' Though this was mostly something that occurred upon his looking in a mirror. Which was once again, difficult not to do. Why resist to gaze at such beauty? He was almost like Narcissus himself with how much he loved his own reflection.
"You underestimate me, son of Apollo." By the gods, it was like that smirk was glued to Adrian's smug little face. "Have you ever thought of the psychology behind certain books, for instance? Why women are always drawn to the "bad guys"? To the guys that are exactly as you describe? It's because they can't resist it." At that, he laughed just a little. That empty laugh. Though it was true. Women did tend to be drawn to the bad guys and it was mostly due to creativity of the heart, that they experiment in mind what they might do with a so-called "bad guy" as opposed to the heroes of the story. Now, Adrian knew he wasn't the hero. He knew he wasn't the most moral of people, or the kindest. But half the time, women swooned over him because they often had dark fantasies. Fantasies that, come the night, benefited him. "It's a shame you didn't inherit any of your father's good looks." And with that comment, his expression was flat and he was looking this boy straight in the eyes. Of course he knew Apollo was one of the more handsome of the gods, and perhaps this boy was more attractive than Adrian would admit, but he just wanted to put him down. Or at least try. He knew it wouldn't work, but it was worth the effort. Worth the comment. Though then, this boy made a comment that pretty much answered Adrian's earlier statement about the psychology in books. "In that case, ignore my earlier remark." He said clearly. "I'm sure it will take some effort, but that's the thing. I always win. She may be drawn to a man of a... somewhat lighter demeanor... like you, I suppose." He said, sneering a little. "But I am not new to this game. I know how to play it, and I know how to win." He was sick and tired of all of this, anyway. And no, he wasn't going to even so much as touch this guy, but he hoped he wouldn't be having to see him again. And if he did, then it was going to be because of his lack of success in getting his girl. And that certainly wasn't going to happen. He just didn't want to see that smug stupid face again.

OOC: Yeah, it probably should be. xD Next one will be when he's confronting him, yes? ;DAnd maybe, just maybe, Adrian will try to get onto Fletcher's good side, though this may not succeed. But he'll blame him for "cursing" him. xD He won't punch Fletcher's face. xD Adrian's trying to think he has morals, but is also denying such a thing. Anyway, I had typed the thing about books and realized later on that Fletcher had already said something about the bad guy, so instead of getting rid of it I just made Adrian add something. xD I hope this is okay, though. :3
