History
- Violent temper - If pushed enough, Alex has a horrible temper that can sometimes turn violent. She won't necessarily hit someone (unless it's deserved), but she might throw something or break something.
- Extremely protective - Being protective is not a flaw. However, being protective to the point of putting yourself in danger can be quite fatal. Most of the time, this is a trait shown to those she cares for deeply, but it is not against her personality to protect anyone who needs it, even if it can cost her her life. The camp is her home and her family. She would do anything for it.
- Blunt - While not necessarily a fatal flaw, it is still a flaw that costs her friends and causes enemies sometimes. She is brutally honest and though she doesn't like hurting feelings, she will not spare them if she feels she needs to be honest or give her opinion. If you want someone to lie to you, do not come to her.
Claimed?: Yes
Camp experience: Two years
Mortal parent: Clarissa Grayson nee Smith (deceased)

APP
You were born on the coast of California, your mother being a high school principal, while your father was a colonel in the Marine Corps. Your father was not your biological father, but this was something you wouldn't find out until much later in life. Not that it mattered, as he raised you and treated you like a good father should treat his daughter. Your household was a strict one, but also fair. Your parents held high expectations for you and pushed you to be the best your could be. This was not a problem for you, for you showed high intelligence and a love for learning. School was as easy as stealing candy from a baby; not that you would ever do such a thing.
However, there was a downside to being a military child; moving. You could still count on one hand how many schools you had attended, but there was still the heartache and frustration of leaving friends behind and starting anew. The first couple of times were hard for you, making you bitter toward your parents and upset for months afterward. But the next few times after that were nothing to you because you were used to it. You just learned to be careful about making friends and to limit yourself due to the fact you knew you would leave them sooner or later. It was hard though, seeing as one of your most treasured things to do was to make friends. Meeting people and participating in group activities was one of your things. How could you not get close to certain people?
Your life, aside from the moving, was simple though. It wasn't hard to receive the things you wanted or to go out and participate in things. Your family had money. But at the age of thirteen, things started to head downhill. While on deployment, your father was killed in a raid, leaving your mother and you severely depressed for quite some time. You loved your father and wanted nothing but to have him back again. This of course, was impossible. The grieving process for your mother was cut short it seemed when odd things started to happen, leading up to an attack on you. You only remember running. You were fifteen at the time and trying to defend yourself against something that seemed completely supernatural. Your mother was scared, but knew exactly what was happening. Confused and concerned, you asked many questions which led to the truth. You were a demigod; a child of Ares, and your father was not your father, but a man that was kind enough to adopt you and help raise you because he loved your mother.
You hardly had time to process this before your mother was killed by the monster trying to protect you. You were thrown into a panic, not knowing where you were or where you were supposed to go. You continued to run, tears running down your hot cheeks as you tried to find a safe place; any place that would get you away from the monster trying to harm you. Running into a boy, you were both knocked to the ground, but he soon rose from the ground to fend off the monster, yelling at you to continue in a direction he pointed in. But you couldn't move. What was going on? Should you listen? After all, he could have been there to harm you too. But why would he when he seemed to be helping you. Rising to your feet, you didn't run. Instead, you fought with the boy after you found a new source of courage you didn't know existed. It was revealed quickly that you were a child of Ares when your strength increased and your skills did as well. You had combat skills you never had before. It was a strange, but exhilarating feeling.
Because of this boy, you became safe within minutes, after both of you had killed the monster. After catching your breath, the boy helped you find your way to Camp Half-blood, the place that would become your new home; the people your new family. At first, it was hard for you to get along. You knew no one and you were still trying to process everything that had happened, including the loss of your mother. You were told to stay in a cabin that held other children of Ares, meaning you had siblings you never knew of. They made you feel welcome, but it wasn't until months later that you finally started to open up and become yourself again. Of course, with some new traits that came with learning who you truly were. You are now seventeen and you have made many friends as well as some enemies. However, you love it at camp and consider it your one true home. You would do anything to keep it and it's inhabitants safe. It was a new life and a new beginning without the worry of it slipping away too soon.Codeword: Verified by Bee.
