What are cabin leaders? Cabin leaders are the representatives and leaders of the people who share their immortal parent. Generally, cabin leaders are those with a little more camp experience and generally older. (For instance, it makes more sense for an eighteen year old to be a cabin leader than a thirteen year old). We prefer for members who have cabin leaders to be dedicated, active people who are ready to take on this responsibility.
What are the responsibilities of being a cabin leader? Cabin leaders are in charge of the members of their member group both in and out of character. In character, they will usually attend meetings that regard the happenings of the camp; these are located in the Big House. Out of character, you are in charge of making sure that the members of your cabin aren't breaking rules - watching for consistent dipping below the word count, general activity, etc. They may also hold activity checks for the characters within their cabin. After it is completed, PM a staff member so they can declare accounts inactive and make the appropriate changes. If you're looking towards a staff promotion, this is a good addition towards our considerations of potential staff members.
How do I become a cabin leader? Simply fill out the form below. Before you do, however, make sure the spot for your desired cabin is vacant. The staff will then review your form and decide if your character seems right for the spot. You may only have one cabin leader character per member.
What if my cabin leader is inactive? Check the absence thread first. If the member does not have an excused absense, PM a staff member for specific guidelines on how to replace your cabin leader.
