General personality: Max is generally a laid back kind of guy. He tends to not insert himself into matters that do not concern him. He loves to make friends. Well if he isn't asleep. He doesn't like to take in leadership positions but he does follow direction very well. He spends his free time sleeping and eating which just so happen to be his favorite two hobbies. He isn't big on fighting. But when he does have to fight he uses his daggers. He never leaves his cabin without his pillow. Not only is it used for sleeping but when needed the pillow turns into a shield.

History:

A little over fifteen years ago there was a young woman who went by the name of Gail Velpo. Gail loved to help people with their problems so she became a psychiatrist. She was really great at helping people with insomnia. She had a method where she would hypnotize you into sleeping. Eventually she caught the eye of a god, Hypnos. Hypnos told her who he was immediately. They began to date and eventually had a child. After the child , Maxilari, was born Hypnos said that he couldn't stay because he had to fulfill his duties. Gail was very understanding about this. Gail had to leave her job to care for Max. While away from work her business died and she went bankrupt. For the next fourteen years Gail lived in a single bedroom apartment with her son. Max attended school regularly not knowing about his father or his heritage. He didnt have any friends at school. But there was this one kid named Cyprus who was always in his class every year. He seemed to always be around. Then not too long ago Cyprus came over to Max's house to work on a project. While working on the project someone busted through their door. It turned out to be a cyclops. The cyclops was aiming to kill Max but Gail stepped in front of him and the cyclops batted her sideways into a wall. She died on impact. Cyprus grabbed Max and they safely made it to Camp. He's been there for a few months now but he is still trying to make friends.
