ANYTHING ELSE:Amelia is a vicious, lovely and passionate girl. There is nothing she would like more than to explore the world fighting off monsters and making silly jokes with her friends. Although she is a daughter of Ares, she has a very high quality of goofing off-especially in times of seriousness. She has been known to team up with Hermes kids on their pranks on occasion, because if they didn’t let her she’d beat the living crap out of them. And there it is, her Ares side revealed. Amelias mother was born and raised in London, England until she was accepted to a University in NYC. She studied Archeology and didn't do much else but school for all of those years. She spent her time in old museums which is where she met Ares. There was a weapon in the Museum of natural history that he wanted to borrow and she ran into him there. Her beauty struck him right away, as did her british accent and they hit if off for a night. He told her all he knew about ancient weapons and fascinated her so much that she learned ot respect him very much. After that very late night she found she was pregnant. Luckily, this was in her last semester with a Masters degree and she was still able to finish school before the baby was born.

Amelia grew up in Brooklyn where her mother moved in with a few roommates. The two had a happy childhood together. One of the roommates was a Japanese woman who had taken on the task of teaching Amelia how to fight, which Amelia grew up loving to do and was a natural at it. As it turned out these woman, Ashandi, was a guardian for Demi-Gods in a former life and recognized what Amelia was right away. She, however, did not tell her until her fifteenth birthday, when she felt Amelia was old enough to be claimed and sent to camp.
