Sydney could sing as good as the next girl who was famous. She had an okay voice she thought. Not something she would make into a career but she could sing. She loved it and it was a passion for her. Sydney had gotten out of her bed and knew what she was gonna do. She loved to do this for the camp. She would put on a show for the whole camp and get this big group of people who knew how to play instruments and they would play for the whole camp. It was most of the time never the same people in the group. They just played with her but Sydney wanted a band for the camp. Maybe she could put flyers around camp. Sydney got dressed in normal clothes that she put on when she performed. She had a separate spot for cloths that she had on when she performed. It was just so that was she didn't wear normal clothes.
Sydney got her mic and equipment and ran to the amphitheater. When she got there she set up and waited for some people to come. When she thought there was enough people she told the "band" That she was gonna do "Can you feel my heart" by Bring Me The Horizon. She loved that song and well when they were ready she waited till it was her part before singing.
"Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel... can you feel my heart?
Can you help the hopeless?
Well, I'm begging on my knees,
Can you save my bastard soul?
Will you wait for me?
I'm sorry brothers,
So sorry lover,
Forgive me father,
I love you mother.
Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel my heart? [3x]
([3x]
I'm scared to get close and I hate being alone.
I long for that feeling to not feel at all.
The higher I get, the lower I'll sink.
I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim.)
Can you feel my heart?
Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel... can you feel my heart?"
When she finished that song she started another and all together the "band" played a total of seven songs. When they finished and most of the people left Sydney sat down at the edge of the stage and grinned. Until she saw someone who she thought she was never going to see ever again.
