Divine Parent: Hades

Personality
General personality: Cold and heartless. That just about sums him up. He has never loved, his mother died before he could even experience a mother's love and he refuses to even acknowledge his father except for the fact that he inherited an excellent set of powers. He believes that his father, this being Hades, should have at least acknowledged his son - especially since he was growing up in an orphanage, alone and unwanted. No potential parent wanted to be anywhere near him, the same applied to the children in the home. Adrian has always been alone and independent and so he only looks out for himself. He only sees people in terms of their worth to him, whether this is someone with exceptional capabilities or a woman for the pleasure she may provide him at the end of the day. He uses people as a means to an end and thus cares only about what he can claim as his own.
Perhaps there is potential for him to warm up for someone, though this is probably after a persistent appeal to his better nature. This itself, however, may take a while. When not looking out for what he can use for himself, he just won't care. He doesn't care about feelings or anything. He will speak his mind and won't care if people get hurt or if people will come to hate him. It's natural to him, it's what he's used to. He believes he will find the one girl he will claim to be his, and when he finds that nothing else will matter. He is patient for that, however. He knows its not something that will happen immediately.
When it comes to his cabin, he's a little more careful in his words. These are the people he lives with and so he can't drive them away so soon. His need for power does draw in, however, and so he actually takes care of them and protects their interests. Though, this is still using them as a means to an end. He needs people on his side in fights and debates, and he always wants to win - thus, he will try and manipulate the situation as far as he can when it comes to simple games like capture the flag.
So to sum up, he doesn't know what love or friendship is. He sees people only for their worth for him. Sure, there's probably a chance that he'll gain a heart, but no one knows exactly when that is. He protects people he prefers to others and people who are of more use to him. He cares not for his father or any of the gods for that matter and prefers to involve himself only in things that benefit him. So he's not kind, he's hardly amiable but when it comes to women he can be a real gentleman. Though this is usually because he intends to end up in bed with them.
Likes: Winning; his powers; people who are useful to him; girls; pleasure; training;
Dislikes: losing; feeling weak; people using him;
Goals:world dominationnah, just to get a little more powerful. To feel powerful and to feel in control, and to fall in love. Though to him love might not be exactly the same as every one else, but its something he wants.
Fears: Feeling as though he's not in control and that he's weak and ultimately, death.
History
Claimed?: Yep.

Mortal parent: Helena Lawley [x].
Other relatives: None.
History: Helena Lawley was, perhaps, not the most attractive of women. But she was confident in her skin and a happy person who often saw the beauty in others before they even managed to see it themselves. She worked in a hospice, which was, at times, not the happiest of jobs - though she always tried to cheer up the inhabitants and lighten their day, at least with a smile and warming compliments. Of course, it was always filled with the inevitable, which was, more often than not, heartbreaking.
After an emotionally hard day at work, Helena had retreated to a bar for a drink or three. She wasn't a lightweight, however, this was something she did on a regular basis - so much so that the bartenders knew exactly when she would arrive and what she wanted to have to eat or drink. One night she wasn't alone. A man was there. Of course, he wasn't the most attractive of people either, but Helena had a special eye for things like that and so the two began to talk. She expressed her disdain in that she was surrounded by death every day and it hurt, especially since the people affected she always learned to love. The man assured her that the people were in a better place. He was kind to her in such a way and insisted his belief was due to the fact that they were good people who didn't deserve to be punished. Though the thought itself was morbid, she admitted that he must have been right. The two gradually started talking about lighter topics and before long, the man was coming home with her. Perhaps she had had too much to drink? Though looking back at it, she wasn't ever that sure. The night was a mere blur.
After the two had slept together, the man left and never spoke to Helena again. She didn't seem to care much since it was just a single night that involved a little drink. She wasn't sure what had initially attracted him to her. Perhaps it was the continuous morbid conversation about death. Was the man that morbid? Ah well, it didn't matter any more. At least... it felt that way until a few weeks later when Helena discovered she was pregnant. Since she hadn't slept with any other man in recent months, it must have been the one she met at the bar. He must have been the father.
Nine months later, Helena gave birth to a boy and named him Adrian Jonathan Ulfric Lawley. She wasn't well though. Being one of those rare cases, Helena died a week after having given birth, leaving Adrian to be sent to an orphanage. That was where he grew up, though he didn't exactly end up as he should have. Adrian grew up as one of the bullies in the orphanage. He took what he believed was his, though he learned to be smart in how he did it. Nevertheless, by the time he was eight he had accumulated a little collection of things that technically didn't belong to him.
However, by this age, he was approached by a satyr. The satyr explained the fact that he was in danger as monsters seemed unusually attracted to this place and so he had been somehow informed to collect Adrian. Adrian didn't believe him at first, it was only when the satyr emphasized the chance the boy could have at exploring a new place and controlling amazing powers that Adrian took a leap of faith and went with him.
It wasn't long after Adrian's arrival at camp that he was claimed by Hades and thus sorted into the Hades cabin. Adrian never really made friends when he was at camp. There were people who were useful to him and people that weren't. Thus Adrian spent a lot of his time alone, training most of the time, making sure his strength reached its full potential. Of course, he continued taking what he thought was his and using people to his advantage. When puberty hit, pleasure became one of these uses. He wasn't past playing women until they got into bed with him and forgetting them completely the next day. He took what he believed was his and this included women (not that he had raped any woman, they were all certainly willing). He didn't understand the concept of love and relationships and believed everything was meant to be handed to him on a silver plate.
Nothing has really changed for him since then and he continues to act as he always does. Using people as a simple means to an end. That and his desire for power and control. It often meant people just wanted to stay away from him. He wasn't that friendly.
