So naturally, the day had started out as it always tended to. Though today was a day for training, Adrian felt, as opposed to one of his girl-hunting days. The girl-hunting days were good though, especially when the girl was hot. Normally he'd pick out a random attractive demigod girl, work his magic and before long, the two would end up in bed together. It was a perfect arrangement and Adrian had enough experience to know exactly what to say and how to act. There were, of course, some girls that had been a long-going effort. Clara Elric, for one. Another cabin leader, an attractive one at that, but Adrian had never succeeded. Of course, there were a few others that downright refused him, but that didn't mean he'd give up. Nevertheless, that wasn't something Adrian had to worry about. Not today, anyway. Today was a day for training. Intense training. It was usually on days like this that upon arriving at the arena, Adrian would train until he was tired and go to eat dinner. He felt that by exhausting himself this way, it was training his body into getting stronger, which he thus felt, would soon allow him to shadowtravel without it being so tiring. Shadowtraveling was a great advantage in battle, as was necromancy, though they weren't powers he trained. It was his pure brute strength he tried to increase, the gracefulness and swiftness of his moves, the danger he posed to all those against him.
Before long, Adrian had arrived at the arena. He wore what he usually wore when he trained, which was actually smart attire. After all, he liked to look good as he trained. Today, however, he had skipped out on wearing armor. He didn't feel it necessary for everyday training, even against monsters. He was too good now, he didn't need something like armor. No monster could hurt him, and that thought alone always granted him a smug little smile upon his lips. He had picked up his two favorite swords, since he was a dual-wielder, and sheathed them as he made his way towards some younger demigods in the arena. Adrian was soon slashing the training dummy into pieces, or at least he was until he heard some of the younger demigods talking among themselves, at which point he stopped and turned to face them with a smirk on his face. 'We're never going to learn here!' They argued, 'it's not challenging enough! I wish there were some real monsters we can fight, this is so boring!' Some real monsters. Adrian knew where one would be. The weaker monsters usually found their way onto half blood hill, through the weakened border in that area. It was the perfect place to train and the son of Hades himself wanted to join in. "Ah, but there are." He said, his tone cold and dry. "If you want a real monster to fight, a real challenge worthy of true men, come with me." Though he was only referring to minor monsters, the ears of the younger demigods had perked up and they were soon following him closely. Despite the fact that they were talking about the son of Hades in hushed tones, talking about what they'd heard about him, it was clear they were eager to find out what he was talking about. They wanted to train and Adrian was giving them just that.
Upon their arrival at Half Blood Hill, Adrian moved closely to the tree that used to hold the Golden Fleece. "Around here," he said, "you just have to be patient. They find their way in sooner or later." He had smirked, leaving the demigods to wonder and continue their gossip as Adrian moved so he could get a better sight of the camp. Admittedly, it was a good view from here. A good place for alone time, usually. Though not today. With him, Adrian had perhaps three or four young demigods. A mix of weak looking ones and ones with potential. With this, though, he would show off his strength. Adrian would stand tall and proud, standing over the dust of the monster he had killed. He would have women swooning over him, and these demigods looking up to him. It was the best way to be, all he needed was a woman or two to witness his victory. Already his chest was puffed out, his hands on the handles of his swords, all Adrian felt was pure pride. It was fantastic. He chose this moment to turn back to the kids with that cold smirk still on his lips, "today your real training begins. Remember to think ahead of the monster. It may only be small this time, but it could be followed by something else and so on. Be prepared." Though his loud, clear words sounded sincere and caring, they really weren't. The younger demigods could die for all he cared. This was the only way they were going to sufficiently train, and they knew it. Anyway, it'd only be a small thing. It only ever tended to be. Adrian had been up here training a number of times and weak monsters always found their way through. This battle was going to be easy.

OOC: If you want her to hear his voice, she could catch that last bit? xD Do it however you want though, I thought Adrian can acknowledge it in the next post, which is also when the monster will come into play. This is setting the scene. >: D My proud little stupid Adrian. :'D I hope the post is okay, anyway. xD
