AppI never really knew my own parents. Well, of course I wouldn't know my father well, seeing as he was a God. Yes, you heard correctly. He was a minor God, but he was still one which meant I wouldn't have much contact with him. My mother was an average woman, working day and night to support herself. However, her job wasn't something that could support more than one person. When I came into the world, things became more difficult for the young woman of only eighteen. She loved me, I knew that even as a small child and she tried to make it work as best she could, but she knew this life wasn't the one I should live; a life of struggling to get by. She couldn't put me through that any longer. So, she alerted the only people she trusted to take care of me; Camp Half-blood.
I was only four years old, and reluctant to leave my mother, but I had no choice. Many times I cried at night, wanting to be back home with my mom, but of course it didn't do anything. It wasn't until I met my best friend that things started to turn around for me. His name was Brandon Mason and it wasn't hard to become quick friends with him. He was a great person and so fun to be around. The older we got, the closer we became as well, starting to date at the age of twelve. I knew I could trust him with anything and he was the one person I told everything to. It was never a dull moment with him and every moment spent I treasured. A couple years into the relationship and I knew I was falling for him, and hard.
Things turned though when I was summoned by my father to go on a quest. Brandon wanted to accompany my group and I, but I refused to let him. I couldn't forgive myself if anything happened to him because of a quest my father set up. So, we took off after I made sure to say my proper goodbyes. Once again, I was reluctant to leave those I loved behind, but I knew I had to do this. Still, I wasn't expecting what was to come. Many trials and tribulations occurred on the quest, including battles with monsters and other creatures of the like, but nothing would prepare me for the betrayal of my own group member.
Theodore was his name and he was able to convince my other group members to leave me when I was the only one still stuck in the trap we all got caught in. Everyone was cut out by Theo, who had gotten out first, but when he thought something was coming, he told them all to leave me and they did. I wasn't the one that was meant to be trapped, but I wasn't killed despite that. Instead, I suffered a worse pain. The one of forgetting my mission because I was put into the Lotus Casino and got caught up in what it had to offer. Months passed by without my recognition, until finally I was found by one of my brothers who was alerted by our father. And now, now I am able to return to camp at my young age of eighteen, once again to be surrounded by those I love. But the burning question of why Theodore did it still bothered me and I'm ready to find out as soon as I return.Codeword: Verified by Bee.
