To say Eleanor was in a good mood would have been an understatement. Not only had she so far actually made friends in this unusual modern world, and found her place in her cabin, but the daughter of Athena had found such a place with focused purely on the arts. Upon finding this place, the female found that anything anyone could ever want to do creatively in their spare time was there. This included materials for embroidery, something the Lady Eleanor had enjoyed very much back home. It was a ladylike thing and frankly, she had always been exceptionally good at it. The queen had enjoyed things that this particular lady-in-waiting had made for her, and had always requested that Eleanor make more when she had the time. It was the perfect escape, even if only temporary. And rather than fighting, something like this was just much more... her. As a result, the blonde took what she needed (i.e. material, an embroidery ring, needle, threads etc), slipped them into her satchel which she had unpacked the night before and went on her way with a warm smile upon her face.
The day before, she had discovered the lake. It was so serene there at dusk, since everyone had been off socializing elsewhere. Indeed, perhaps Eleanor should have been joining them, getting a few names onto her list of those she could gladly say she new, but there were also times when she just wanted a little peace and quiet and so she had stayed there for about an hour and enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing against the sand. It was that feeling she wanted to have once again, to enjoy the bliss and serenity of the lakeside. Especially since there was an incredulous lack of modern technology or even modern anything around the lake, and it made her feel as though she had gone for a simple horse ride into the country, visiting an English lake for a little peace and quiet with her close family or friends. It had always been so enjoyable back then, though being there now just made her wish that her old friends were present too.
Upon her arrival, Eleanor found a comfortable place to sit down and she pulled out her her embroidery materials and she started decorating the fabric with various patterns. It was a time consuming job but it was fun, at least to the daughter of Athena. At first she had started with a simple flower, one that she always tended to make. It was a beautiful flower, colorful too. The whole setting brought Eleanor back, in mind, to her previous life, and it made her desperately homesick. Indeed, she also started to wonder if there was a way to change the past. To change it so that her entrapment in the Lotus Inn had never happened. But such a thought was quickly washed away. She had met some wonderful people here. There was Bastien, for example, and Alexander. People that had treated her so kindly she didn't know what was even real anymore. Perhaps she could even learn to enjoy it here.
