Your life in the beginning seemed perfect. You were raised in France, with your twin brother for two years by your father before he married to a woman who would become your adopted mom. However, both you and your brother loved her and got along with her quite well; your brother more than you, but still well enough. Both of them loved you unconditionally and did everything within their power to keep you and your brother safe and happy. However, all things must come to an end. At least, that's what you learned at the age of eight when a drunk driver ran your parent's car off the road and into a ditch. You and your brother were in the back seat and you and your brother were the only ones to survive.
After being in the hospital for a couple of weeks to recover, you and your brother were sent to a foster home until something more permanent became available. It was harder to find such a home when you refused to leave your brother's side. They were having a hard time finding a home that would accept two children, instead of just one. But the worst part was your foster parents weren't who they said they were. Sure, they were Mr. and Mrs. Deveroux, but they didn't care for you and your brother. All they wanted was the money that came along with fostering children. It didn't take long for them to show their true colors which resulted in physical and emotional abuse.
This continued for two years until you finally snapped. Your foster father had been drinking that day and came home plastered. A fight broke out between the foster parents until finally he turned on your brother. Pissed off and sick of the abuse, as well as the image of him laying a hand on your twin, you lashed out and punched the man across the face breaking his nose in the process. Fearing for what would come next, your brother and you ran out and kept running until you were sure they couldn't find you. That night, things became weird, as the two of you were confronted by what was called a Satyr. After a lot of confusion and convincing, you went with the half man, half goat to a place for Camp Half-blood where you would reside for a good amount of time.
You were claimed a couple weeks later, along with your brother. The Athena cabin was where you belonged and it was to become your home as you learned more about the place, your heritage, and the others that were your siblings. It was odd to think you had siblings outside of your brother and you didn't get along with them at first. After what happened to your parents and then the issues with your foster parents, you didn't trust anyone and you took a long time to even trust someone. But you warmed up to them. At least, you warmed up to your siblings. Everyone else didn't seem as important to you. It seemed you liked isolation more than you liked the large crowds.
You are now seventeen and still don't have that many people on your good list, but your siblings are what matter the most to you and anyone that messes with them, even the more annoying ones, has to deal with you. You take the camp's safety seriously and would do anything to make sure nothing happened to it as well. After all, it's been your home for seven years and you never want to go back to your old life. Your past still haunts you at times through nightmares and sometimes panic attacks that can be triggered by things that remind you of the accident or the abuse, but only a couple people know and that's how you're going to keep it.Codeword: Verified by Bee.
