General personality: Heather is one of the most friendly people you will ever meet. She can brighten up anyone's day, and is a great person who will be there for you when you're down. Some of her main characteristics include the following:
Friendly: As mentioned, Heather is very friendly. She is an extrovert and likes hanging out with people. She always has a spring in her step and wants to make everyone happy. Her best characteristic is also one of her worst, however. She wants to be friends with as many people as she can and sometimes doesn’t see that some people just want to be alone. She ends up pushing many of these people to the breaking point in her urge to make friends.
Sarcasm: Heather is often sarcastic. She loves to poke fun at little things in life. She is never mean with her jokes, although some can be taken the wrong way.
Daring: Heather takes chances and lives life to the fullest. She forgets to look before she leaps, and often winds up hurt or in trouble for doing something she shouldn't have. She can't let a chance slip by. This makes her life more interesting, but also more dangerous. Many of her friends see this as her best trait, but those close to her see it as her worst.
Dramatic: Heather is very dramatic. She makes mountains out of molehills, and exaggerates emany aspects of her life. She loves to act as well as being dramatic in everyday life, and hopes to be an actress within the span of her career. Often times, she acts more dramatic than she is to make fun of herself and make people laugh.

History
Claimed?: yes
Camp experience: 7 years
Mortal parent: Ellie Eastwood, 38
Other relatives: Greg Russell, 41, stepfather
History:
Heather was raised in a small apartment in San Francisco, California, by her single mother. She was a happy and energetic baby, and always very smart. She started walking early, the earliest signs of her tenacity. Her mother was not particularly wealthy, and they struggled to get by, but having her baby was enough for her. When Heather was three, her mother began dating a man named Greg Russell. He was kind to Heather, and loved her mother. On his first visit to Heather's apartment, he brought her a FurReal cat. She proceeded to rip off the fur and take it apart, to her delight and Greg's embarrasment. Their relationship grew this way, and when Heather was five, Greg became her stepfather.
Heather's mechanical prowess grew, and eventually she rebuilt the cat she had dismantled, at the age of seven. She enjoyed reading instruction manuals more than fairytales, and started pulling apart every old electronic she could, rebuilding them or making something better out of the assorted parts. She joined the robotics club at her school and won prizes in most of the competitions. Everything was perfect for a short time.
One night, Heather ran to her mother's room and told her that there were monsters hiding in the shadows. Her mother thought that she was just having a nightmare, and let her stay in the room for the night. It kept recurring until her mother decided to see what she was talking about. As she walked in, harpies flew at Heather and her mother. It was then that her mother told her about Camp Halfblood. A few days later, on her eighth birthday, they began to travel across the country.
Once she arrived at Camp Halfblood, she was drawn to the forges automatically. Hephaestus claimed her almost instantaneously. She started making new friends immediately, although she was homesick and sad about having to go away. She wrote letters home, and her homesickness healed slowly. She did did not go home over the years, for her mother's fear of Heather's safety, and she soon became distant from her mother, staying in contact more with her stepfather than anything. She knew Camp Halfblood was where she needed to be, and where she would stay.
