Yet another sunny day. Another day in which, despite the weather, this particular son of Hades never wore any less than what he normally did. He wasn't the type to walk around the beach without his top on. Instead, he wore a smart button-up shirt, with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and as usual his smart pants. Smart was his style. It was classy. Elegant. Attractive. Though, once he arrived on the beach, he had taken his shoes and socks off and continued as normal. It was hot enough to get away with it, and there were people wearing less than that. Much much less. Even still, there were only a few people on the beach, and they were scattered. So Adrian took a largely empty area for himself and wondered close to the water, dipping his toes in a little for the refreshing touch of the crawling tide. It felt weirdly human of him to do so, since for a moment he felt relaxed and calm, perhaps even genuinely happy. Though this soon faltered and he stepped back out of the water just like he had managed to get his foot out of crap. By then, he took several steps back and slumped on the sand. The water only reminded him of the fact that he had just started a mission. A mission to get a girl unlike any other. Though this wasn't like any other mission that usually ended up with a girl in his bed, this mission was for Madeline Chevalier. The girl Adrian knew was the one. And dammit, he was going to succeed.
Though, until such a victory, Adrian had to pass the time. And that meant carrying on as usual - flirting with every pretty girl he saw in the hopes she would end up in bed with him. This, however, was the first time he had tried since he realized how he felt, and frankly, he didn't know if it would end up any different or if things would continue as normal. Though of course, it would be the latter. Adrian Lawley, son of Hades, was a winner. He knew nothing else. Winning was the way to succeed in this world, and it had worked so far. Of course it was going to succeed. And now was the perfect time to see it out.
So soon, the male jumped back onto his feet and picked a girl out from one of the few on the beach. She was a brunette, beautiful - though never so much as Maddy - and actually... sort of looked like her. Vaguely, at least. Adrian had seen her before. She was a daughter of Aphrodite, so of course, naturally beautiful. "Hello," he had said to her, adopting his charming smile. Of course, she responded well, and even started flirting back. It was definitely going well. At least... until Adrian's mind wandered elsewhere. He imagined then that he was talking with her. Though she would usually talk a lot less than this daughter of Aphrodite and though Adrian was a little curious about why she stuck to such a habit, it never bothered him. He thought she was perfect as is. He didn't care about any flaws she might think she had, any flaws other people might say she had, or anything anyone thought was bad about her. The girl was perfect to him and that was that. Though compared to her boyfriend, his words probably didn't mean as much and that angered him. All he wanted to do was embrace her and whisper, 'be mine, Maddy. Forget him.' Though he knew it wouldn't happen so easily.
Suddenly then, Adrian snapped back into reality upon the realization that this daughter of Aphrodite before him had asked him a question, which he hadn't heard because, well, he hadn't been listening. Her words were worth nothing. She was worth nothing. "Forget all this." He said, smirking suddenly. "It's useless chatter. Come to my cabin tonight and we'll get what we both want." And somehow that had offended the girl, she huffed and stormed off, shouting curses at him for being so senseless. Of course, he knew then what the problem was. He usually tended to adopt a slower tactic, which meant that he almost certainly ended up with a girl beside him. He was usually charming, not blunt. And his mind had been elsewhere. Perhaps he'd missed a vital question which, if he had answered correctly, could have made him end up where he wanted to go. "Fine!" He shouted after her. The shout was suddenly followed by a few curse words on his part, that were, to be honest, rather derogatory to her. "You'll regret this!" By the gods he was starting to get angry. What had he just done?! And of course she was going to regret it! After all, who wouldn't want to wake up next to Adrian Lawley.
Adrian himself ended up in a huff. He strode over to the water and kicked the sand beneath it, being rather violent as he did so. This was the first time he had lost in what had seemed like a guarantee. The girl had flirted with him, for gods' sake! Of course she liked what she saw! The male then tried to calm down, he took a deep breath and sighed, soon setting his gaze upon the horizon as he gave himself a few minutes to breathe. 'I'll succeed next time,' he thought, 'I do not lose.'

OOC: Of course he'll lose. He'll calm down upon seeing Sarina, but I do hope this is okay. xD Tell me if you want me to change anything. Ended up being a little long too, sorry. xD
