Not being afraid of death and hating it are two different things. Ever sense Shane was a little boy he has always hated his father. Shane had a younger twin sister. Only she died not even two hours after she was born. The doctors saw how pale she was when she was born and they put her in emergency care. Only they didn't already know she was going to die. If they had not put her in emergency care she would have died as soon as she came out.


When his mother and him were able to go home all he ever did was sit in the corner and do nothing. Even as he grew older. When he was 4 he saw his sisters spirit next to him. She always was there growing with him as he grew. He wished she would have never died she would have been a good looking sister. But their dad had to let her die. Why?


He blamed himself for her being dead. He had heard of twins taking the stuff the other twin needs to not let them live. He thinks that's why his sister is dead. Even though he knows its not, she just didn't want to live he still blames himself.
When he was 14 he started to see the spirits even more. He blocked all of them out even his sister. He has not seen her sense. It drove him mad. He punched everything. All the walls, all the glass objects, even his mother. He didn't mean to punch her it just kinda happened. She told him to go upstairs to his room and pack. So he did. He didn't know why but he did not argue. He came down all packed and his mom told him to get in the car. So he did.


After a couple hours of not talking to his mom they finally reached camp. His mother told him everything he needed to know. Who he was, who is father is, why he can see dead people, and what the place she was dropping him off to was. He believed her and got out of the car. Not even five minutes after seeing Chiron, Thantos claimed him.
A couple of days ago Shane had to go collect his little sister upon their father's request. He hated it of course but he did it anyway. He loved his sister to death but the fact that his no good father asked him to get her made him mad. Why couldn't their dad just go get him. He just returned to camp a couple of days ago with his half sister

This is Shane. He is a very reserved person. He will not go out of his way to make friends. If they come into his life they come but he will not make friends on purpose. Any guy his sister ,or any female that he is close to, decides to date he must meet first. If he thinks the guy will be bad for them then he will watch they guy like a hawk till he messes up. Then Shane will be right there to put him in his place.



He gets annoyed with people who don't fear his father, death. Even he himself fears death. It something that comes naturally. If somebody is not afraid he won't go making them be afraid of death. He will just ask them why they are not afraid of it and if they give him a good reason he won't bother them.
