Granting luck - Desdemona has the ability to grant someone good luck or bad luck. This really depends on her mood or how much luck a person has already. She doesn't do it often though. Well, at least not granting good luck. She's just not that nice.
Precognition - This only works in the sense of seeing other people's futures. However it's uncontrollable to her and usually seen in dreams, which she can't tell if they are visions or just dreams until something cues her in on it.

• Manipulative - Desdemona can be highly manipulative, especially when she wants something. She will do most anything even trying to bend people's views and emotions in order to get it. She will tear people down in order to bring herself up without a second thought.
• Vengeful - Revenge is her thing. If you do her wrong, she will get you back, the question is.. how? She will most likely hit you when you least expect it and might even mess with you and make you paranoid before actually doing so.

Alright, so welcome to Camp Half-blood! Do you mind if we get to know you a little bit better?

"Whatever, let's just get this over with, okay?"

Um... Okay.. So, first, tell us some of the basics, yeah? Like name, what you liked to be called.. I'm sure you understand.

"Quite. Well, my full name is Desdemona Tempest Almon. Only those who dare try call me little nicknames such as Des, Dessy, or Mona. I suppose I don't care about Des, but the others tend to make me sick. So don't do it, understand? Anyway, I'm eighteen years old and I was born in December. I don't care to tell you my birthday, because I rather not face the hype of it. Birthdays are just another day."

Very interesting name you have there. Very unique as well. I like it! Let's move on though. How long have you been here Desdemona?

"Um, yeah.. And a year."

That's actually a short amount of time compared to some of the campers, right? Tell us about your life before camp.

"And why would I want to do that?"

Look, the more you cooperate, the less time you'll have to be here. Now please, continue.

"Excuse me? Do you even have the right to talk to me like that? I'm sure I could walk out right now and nothing will happen to me. Though.. I can't say the same for you."

I apologize. But please... answer.

"Fine. I was raised by a single father. His name was Jackson Almon. Apparently my mother left after I was born because she didn't think she could take care of me like she needed to. At least, that's what my father said. My father wasn't around a lot because he was a businessman. Honestly, I'm pretty sure he didn't even want me seeing as he left me with whoever could take care of me at the time. Sounds really nice, right? Anyway, things just started to take a turn for the worse. Well, worse than what they already were. My father became an alcoholic because of the stress of his job, blah blah blah. Long story short, he became abusive whenever he was home. Physically and mentally. Yelling things like 'it's all your fault' and 'why are you so stupid?' Things of that nature. As a kid, it got to me, but now... Ha.. I realized it made me that much stronger. But in the end, my father was found out by our neighbors and I was taken from him and put into an orphanage."

Wow... That sounds.. hard. But, who are these people on your record? The... Jacksons?

"Oh... Them. Yeah, I was only with them for a few months. They adopted me and then realized they couldn't handle me. I caused 'too much stress' and apparently I was 'a horrible child'. Makes me laugh to this day. So after that I was just sent back to the orphanage to live out my days until I turned eighteen."

Um.. I see... But you didn't stay until you were eighteen, did you? Cause I see here-

"If you know everything about me, then why are you asking me these questions?"

I.. I just want to understand what was going on. So, you didn't stay...

"No. I left at seventeen, so a year ago. My powers started acting up and some goat boy came and got me. Told me about this camp and here I am. I've never been claimed, but I have a feeling I know who my parent is." 

Oh really? Who?

"Nemesis, obviously. Though, I have no clue why she hasn't claimed me. I'm the epitome of who she is. Oh well. Maybe one day."

"Erm.. well, thanks I guess."
