Unlike her paternal siblings, Dawn was not only human but a demi goddess. Unbeknownst to her father, Dawn had a fraternal twin brother. After giving birth to Dawn, Nyx thought it would be best if the twins were seperated, though never vacillated to alter the course of their dreams to show that they were missing an important relative. As the girl was born when the sun was crawling up from it's rest, Nyx named her Dawn before leaving her in the arms of her father and her brother in the arms of two strangers. Dawn grew up in an apartment just like many other middle classed families with two paternal younger brothers. She had a loving father and a warm hearted step mother, although her step mother was impartial, Dawn always wanted her biological mother beside her, but she would never admit this to absolutely anyone. She was rather independent and never showed the need of help or comfort, thus, always avoided the biological mother subject.
She had a pretty normal high school experience, though had a hard time with her grades and making friends. She was more of an outcast who prefered to live in reality and never afraid to speak the truth, thus, many people did not bother with her except for two people. A girl and a boy, these two tried to get closer to Dawn, though being afraid of abandonment, Dawn was rather withdrawn and refused to get attatched to them. Unfortunately, it did not go well. Their presistance was driving her crazy and eventually, she gave in to go to this 'party' they'd invited her to. One night, what seemed like a normal car ride turned out to be a death trap. The two youngsters showed Dawn their true form, two furies in disguise, there to take her life. But Dawn wasn't going to give up easily, she accidentally caused their car crash, this resulted with one fury vanishing into dust and Dawn facing the last fury. Thankfully, she had gotten a head start, as it got stuck in the wrecked car. She, on the other hand, had slithered her way out of a broken window and sprung for dear life. Onwards towards a field not far from where the incident had taken place. Unbeknownst to Dawn, she was headed to where her kind truly belonged, Camp Half Blood.
