General personality:

Positive Traits: 

Heroic: Being a pirate has taught Baltazar one thing over the years and that is how to be a hero. While most people think pirates are bad per say its actually wrong to assume hes like his grandfather. Since hes the son of Poseidon and the son to Blackbeard he has a bit of a prince complex making him think he has to be the hero to any girl in distress. One thing he can`t pass up is getting the glory. 

Charming: If there is one thing he has learned over the years its how to be charming and charismatic. He can smoothly talk his way out of pretty much anything. He has a way with the ladies when he wants to though its more common this trait is purely for winning the affection of younger campers and getting his way with people in general. 

Insouciant: Baltazar doesnt show concern for the same things most of the campers do. He doesnt show a lot of concerns for things in general and when he does its very rare for him. In a way hes pretty careless about the things he`ll do over. Honestly hes more relaxed and go with the flow kinda guy, punishments do not scare him nor does he care to fallow the rules. 

Debonair: One thing people notice about Baltazar is that hes charming, elegant, confident, and stylish. You`ll never see this male falter or fail at anything appearance wise and honestly hes been trained to look good. As a pirate hes taught to. Lets just say this male has style and skills to match. 

Negative Traits: 

Callous: As a pirate he was raised to be cold and heartless towards people though there are a few who can win him over. A lot of times Balt will come off as insensitive towards those who complain ever so much, want him to feel sorry for them, or just annoy him. He isn`t the easiest person to get a long with but it can happen. 

Devious: Being a pirate has honestly taught the male a few things, one of these being how to be the most devious boy alive. A pirates life is something he`s always known. Though most of these might be underhanded and sneaky he has also shown the fact that hes rather skillful. 

Shallow: Balt knows that he is good looking and well hes a bit egotistical. He isn`t one to just accept things as they are and when it comes to other people he just sees them as people in general. Shallowness is the thing that has affected him the most, he isn`t one to look highly towards other people and well he likes to think himself better than most. 

Authoritarian: Baltazar has to be in charge and he expects people to fallow the rules set for them. He does not believe in personal freedoms due to the life style he grew up in, it was a set of rules and you fallowed it no matter what. This trait has stuck with him over the years and he has yet to turn from it. He likes to make sure everyone obeys the set law and well its more fun to be the one in charge.

History:

Baltazar Teach was born Angelina Teach daughter of the dreaded pirate Black Beard and the god Poseidon. Angelina was the pride and joy of Black Beard and out of fear of losing his only treasure he found a deserted island and forced the girl onto it only to be married to the man whom could prove himself worthy. Little did the captain know that his daughter had a admirer. The god Poseidon had taken a liking to the dark haired woman, he sought her out one night after the departure of her father. She turned him away in fear of what her father would think and a few months later she was to be married off to another captain arranged by her father. Poseidon did not like the idea of losing a woman who could bare him a strong sea worthy child so he disguised himself as Angelina`s future husband only to bed her. The next morning the real man showed up denying the accusations that Angelina made, her father thought her made and demanded she be locked on the island for the rest of her life. 

Angelina lived on the island for the next nine months alone waiting for her father to return to see that she was not crazy. Upon his arrival he found the girl nine months pregnant and sent for the male whom was suppose to marry her. Angered that he`d turned on his own daughter Black Beard had the male killed and stuck around until the birth of Baltazar. The pirate never wanted to keep the babe and often threatened to leave the two to die but after seeing the boy strong and healthy he decided to take the child under his wing to become the next Black Beard. He named the boy for his father than gave him his real last name in order to keep him in the family loop. His mother however was no so lucky. Angelina was locked away into the castle where no man could ever touch her again and she never saw the baby grow up. After losing her father and her child Angelina grew ill and passed a few months later. 

Growing up on the ship was never easy, Son of the captain or not. Black Beard said the child was his but no one cared all they wanted was to pillage and take what they could. He never had a mother instead a different woman would come and care for him then leave to please his "Father" as he grew up the routine kept to a tee and finally he got sick of being kept in the cellar. At the age of ten the boy wandered from his room to the deck, he began to navigate easily as if it was nothing and this caught black beards attention. For months this went on using the boy to find their way, using him as a distraction, anything and everything went. By the age of fourteen the male had become the son that every pirate wanted a sea born child who would never turn from his own kind. 

Black Beard trained the boy in what it was to be a pirate, how to fight like a pirate, how to steal and win over women. Anything and everything one would need to live in the 17th century. For years Balt fallowed his grandfather thinking that he was his father. He fallowed him into the bloody battles, the stealing of treasure, and even the burning of villages. It wasn`t until twelve that Black Beard decided to give him his own ship and crew that he would inherit once he hit a certain age. All of the treasures had been hidden on this ship and the boy was sent to go an find a secret place to hide it. Traveling without the captain did not settle well for the crew but they did as told and eventually found themselves in the sea of monsters. The ship sailed around the sea for two hundred and eighty two years. Time did not pass, no sunsets or sun rises and as time went on the crew started to die from hunger. After a few years the last five people found a small island where they made their home. 

The five lived that way for another year before Baltazar chose to find a way off the island, after sailing for a year they managed to reach the island of America only to find out that time had changed since they had left. Feeling confused and lost he decided to whisper to himself in attempts to figure it out. He heard a males voice telling him to go to camp half blood and the boy fallowed letting the other five men sail off without him. Fallowing instructions Balt headed towards camp half blood, along the way he ran into another children around the same age as him and the two boys headed to the safety of their new homes. It took around two to three weeks for the boys to arrive at camp and not long after being welcomed a trident appeared over the young pirates head. Unsure of what it meant he began to swat at the water. After being explained that Poseidon was his father Baltazar began to question his way of life. 

The first couple of days at camp where the hardest and due to his past life style the male had a hard time fitting in. He often teased the girls in camp acting like they where nothing. This went on for a year until a ten year old girl named Prudence came along, At the age of thirteen he was fallowed around by the young Hephaestus girl who took a fancy to him. At first Baltazar thought the girl to be crazy and did his best to pick on the girl in attempts to run her off but nothing seemed to work. The more he pushed the girl away the more he began to care for her. The two became close friends over the years, he enjoyed having the young girl around as much as he enjoyed the water. Of course the bullying did not stop, it was far to much fun for the male. 

The two stayed friends throughout their years at camp, Finally the time came when Baltazar could no longer stay in camp as a camper, he wanted to be with his family meant that meant so much that he decided to stay at camp half blood as a counselor. He now resides within the camp helping the kids learn to fight and just enjoy their lives.
