Personality
General personality: Coriander can be sassy, at first. She is cold to the touch and so she will avoid touching you-that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like you but it usually comes across that way. She can be cold, callous and careless at times-but that is just a defense. She fears her ice powers and tries not to use them unless a battle is arising, though she has no choice about having cold skin.
Cori is a big flirt too, but she’ll never give you a real chance unless you try hard for a while. Cori can be a really good friend and ally if you prove that you are trustworthy, but she also makes a terrible enemy. She’s always been mistaken for the sweet little girl, but when she came to camp she changed her outer image to be more accurate-tough, gritty and sassy. She has a soft center though; it takes some work to get to. Her fatal flaw is her loyalty to her friends once she makes them.

History: Corianders father, Corben, was a professional mountain climber. He made a goal to reach the top of Mount Everest, the highest and the coldest mountain in the world. When he was only twenty years old he made the trip and started to climb. Unlike many others, he made it to the top where he was greeted by a beautiful Goddess, Khione. She automatically admired him for making it that far, but was also furious at the fact. She found him very handsome and convinced him to join her within a cave at the top of the mountain thus Cori was conceived.

But Khione deceived her father, she was embarrassed by him climbing to the top of the mountain, which she prided herself in being impossible to climb, and kept him her prisoner on the top of the mountain. When Cori was born, she let Corben see her only once before sending Cori into the foster system in America.

Cori had never met either of her parents as she was been passed around through the Foster care program. She has lived in several states and gone to a ton of schools. As she started to realize her cold skin she hid in corners and started avoiding eye contact with people. She realized she could be used as a danger and people called her a coward for it, they treated her like an annoying hermit. Her anger boiled her blood but she never spoke up. When she turned 16 Khione finally claimed her and told her of camp half blood. She admired her daughters beauty and decided Cori was worthy of her time. Cori hates her, but she found camp and has been there for one year.
